With over 54 one-lane bridges and 617 curves, this narrow two-lane road hardly passes for a highway, yet many brave this infamous trek to experience the lush tropical rainforest filled with waterfalls, sea cliffs, dramatic coastlines and black sand beaches. • BIKE DOWN HALEAKALA CRATER
  Enjoy the spectacular views of Haleakala National Park as you coast effortlessly down 38 miles from an elevation of 10,000 feet. Tours are available for sunrise and mid-day. Downhill bike tours include round-trip transportation from the hotel, continental breakfast as well as breakfast/lunch after your excursion. Layered clothing is a must due to the higher elevation. Children must be 12 years old or older and at least 4' 10" tall.
• HALEAKALA CRATER SUNRISE VAN TOUR
  Make your way 10,023 feet up to the summit of Haleakala Crater, Maui's dormant volcano. Enjoy spectacular island views after a memorable sunrise. Round-trip transportation and breakfast is included. Times vary depending on sunrise. Warm clothing is a must due to the higher elevation.

  Travel through Maui's lush tropical island and spectacular views on horseback! There are several horseback riding tours that are available to suit your needs. All levels of riding skills are welcome. Tours leave daily starting at 8:15 am. Tour times vary between 1 1/2 to 3 hours.
